The upcoming Ethereum merge seems to be having positive effects on the prices of ETH and other tokens. This naturally puts downward pressure on NFT floor prices and we continue to see more sellers than buyers of NFTs at the moment. So, as potential projects become even more interesting, I want to ensure that you are well-equipped with knowledge from the best tools available. I’ve added some Alpha below tied to the first Whitelist opportunity offered by Ledger Market Pass as well as an excellent educational resource.

All-in-One DApp: NFTGo.io
I consider NFTGo.io to be a comprehensive alternative to DappRader.com which I’ve shared previously. Not necessarily better, but different. Similar to DappRadar, you can connect your wallet and get a financial view of your NFT & token portfolio. But here are some key differences and resources you should know about:
Top Mints - This is one of the best pages to visit to understand which projects are having successful mints over given time periods. You can quickly see which projects have a higher number of unique wallets minting, how many “whales” are minting, and levels of FOMO (fear of missing out tied to mint activities).
Whale Tracking - Do whales represent the “smart” money in web3? I’m not sure, but they certainly deserve paying attention to when they make a splash. Whale Tracking allows you see which NFT projects they are buying and selling, including which users are considered “whales.”
NFT Drops - I’m going to add a caveat upfront. Free doesn’t mean safe. Expensive doesn’t mean quality. The point here is that the NFT Drop section can be a terrific starting point for conducting research on new projects, but they are not recommendations to buy. You must conduct your own due diligence here, anything else is gambling!
Alpha leaks:
Ledger Market Pass - In my last newsletter, I shared the Ledger Market Pass as a featured project. Membership projects like these typically include WL (whitelist) opportunities. “Brick” is their first one!
Brick is planned as an artistic and educational hub. There is a lot to unpack related to Brick, but in short, holders will get the following: A PFP. Free entry with a plus-one to live concerts and events, both IRL and through a metaverse space via token-gated live streams. You’ll also get merch drops for every event.
To be eligible for the mint in September, you must either hold a Ledger Market Pass and sign up at Premint.xyz or join the general allow list and hope you get lucky!
ASM - Altered State Machine is nearing the end of their first genome mining cycle. This means that the market may soon be flooded with Gen II ASM Brains that can be trained and deployed to various protocols. My assumption is that these will be fairly inexpensive to purchase in the secondary. If you are looking for an inexpensive way to get into this ecosystem, then it might be an ideal time.
Advanced - If you participated in staking ASTO to earn ASTO Energy, the game of mining Gen II brains starts today. To gamify the experience, users will mine on the AIFA moon. Similar to prospecting for gold, rarer brains will be clustered together in veins. ASM Founder, David McDonald mentioned mining near the “Ghostly” All-Star for more interesting brains.
Purely Educational:
I’ve been getting questions lately about how “staking” works with NFTs. This podcast is a bit dated (from February), but is a great educational resource providing a clear understanding on how staking NFTs works in under 20 minutes!
