Dear Future Whales,
There are some new burn and mint mechanics that add more fun to the space and aim to push Web3 user onboarding higher! I share a tool that will help you to protect your assets and the best NFT-related podcasts that I’ve heard this week. We’ll end with Alpha for those who seek it.

Alpha Notes!
Innovation around Burning NFTs:
Burn Island for VeeFriends NFT holders. Gary Vee and team have introduced a new deflationary technology, token burning tool can be used with any VeeFriends NFT. In exchange for burning there NFTs, participants may be eligible for new NFTs and merchandise through a sweepstakes mechanism. The real winner here is most likely the long-term floor prices of assets in the VeeFriend’s World. Learn more about it here.
Burn Rug NFTs, Create a Goblin Horde! Futureverse will set the NFT market on fire once again by inviting rugged Web3 communities to mint a Goblin Horde. The new mint mechanic awards specific communities with the ability to burn their rug NFTs to earn JUNK, which can then be used to mint goblins, as many as they like!
After the Seeker “Pledge and Sacrifice” starting on February 22nd, Amulet holders will get to choose communities who have been rugged, are unhappy, or just want to trade up. Justice will be served to those bad NFTs after all!

Protect yourself when participating in speculative mints and other during Web3 transactions with this trusted resource:
With delegate.cash, you don't have to worry about connecting your valuable assets to potentially risky dApps. Instead, you can use this service to secure your on-chain assets while still participating in NFT airdrop claims, token governance, and other activities.
It works by allowing users to link their cold wallets to hot wallets, giving the hot wallet the ability to act on behalf of the cold wallet, like a crypto power-of-attorney.
Featured Pods: The best ones from the week!
Web3 Breakdown: A Toy Company From The Future - I’ve shared Cryptoys with my readers in the past and own them myself. This podcast with Eric Golden, CEO of OnChain Studios and Co-Founder of Cryptoys includes:
Evolution of a new business venture into digital collectibles
Trends related to children's consumption of digital products
Importance of different blockchains to build upon
Real Talk NFT: How to leverage Physicals Collectibles - Scott Kveton, CEO of Jump on how to unlock liquidity within physical collectibles through the power of NFTs.
Scott covers the landscape for Fractionalization, the battle over Royalties, and notes on current Regulatory Frameworks.
For those of you following our SegMint.io launch, the Jump.co model appears to be the closest competitor to what we are building, but it’s still a custodial solution vs. SegMint.io which promotes self-custody.
Alpha:
Seekers: All of this news about sacrificing “Void” seekers has their team creating reasons for you to not give a pledge to the Goblin Gods.
Node dashboards will be coming soon. No seeker, no Node! Nodes help to support the $SYLO network and you must own a seeker in order to run a Node.
Parts & Background swapping is coming too. The team at Altered State Machine teased the need for certain tools to be required for mining “Aifarite”, so give your seeker a second look.
Walker World - Teased some important updates in the recent “Walker Weekly”
The team shared imagery of a mysterious monolith that showed up inside Walker World. The portal-like imagery may look very familiar to many of my readers!
Staking functionality is around the corner with a promise of extra special rewards.
The team also teased an additional collab with ATEM Car Club.

Cryptocurrency is a digital representation of value that functions as a medium of exchange, a unit of account, or a store of value, but it does not have legal tender status. Cryptocurrencies are sometimes exchanged for U.S. dollars or other currencies around the world, but they are not generally backed or supported by any government or central bank. Their value is completely derived by market forces of supply and demand, and they are more volatile than traditional currencies. The value of cryptocurrency may be derived from the continued willingness of market participants to exchange fiat currency for cryptocurrency, which may result in the potential for permanent and total loss of value of a particular cryptocurrency should the market for that cryptocurrency disappear. Cryptocurrencies are not covered by either FDIC or SIPC insurance. Legislative and regulatory changes or actions at the state, federal, or international level may adversely affect the use, transfer, exchange, and value of cryptocurrency.
Investing in cryptocurrencies comes with a number of risks, including volatile market price swings or flash crashes, market manipulation, and cybersecurity risks. In addition, cryptocurrency markets and exchanges are not regulated with the same controls or customer protections available in equity, option, futures, or foreign exchange investing. There is no assurance that a person who accepts a cryptocurrency as payment today will continue to do so in the future.
Investors should conduct extensive research into the legitimacy of each individual cryptocurrency, including its platform, before investing. The features, functions, characteristics, operation, use and other properties of the specific cryptocurrency may be complex, technical, or difficult to understand or evaluate. The cryptocurrency may be vulnerable to attacks on the security, integrity or operation, including attacks using computing power sufficient to overwhelm the normal operation of the cryptocurrency’s blockchain or other underlying technology. Some cryptocurrency transactions will be deemed to be made when recorded on a public ledger, which is not necessarily the date or time that a transaction may have been initiated.
· Investors must have the financial ability, sophistication and willingness to bear the risks of an investment and a potential total loss of their entire investment in cryptocurrency.
· An investment in cryptocurrency is not suitable or desirable for all investors.
· Cryptocurrency has limited operating history or performance.
· Fees and expenses associated with a cryptocurrency investment may be substantial.
There may be risks posed by the lack of regulation for cryptocurrencies and any future regulatory developments could affect the viability and expansion of the use of cryptocurrencies. Investors should conduct extensive research before investing in cryptocurrencies.
