Dear Future Whales,
Today’s note highlights one of the most anticipated mints of the year that I expect to punch above its weight. I share an addicting Solana blockchain game and business model for my readers who are true “degens” at heart. There are also a few spouts of Alpha!
Summary of today's notes:
Featured Project & Upcoming Mint: Muhammed Ali: The Next Legends
More Degen Gaming: Sol Crash - For Fun Only!
Alpha Leaks - The B64 is coming!
Upcoming Mint & Featured Project: Muhammed Ali: The Next Legends
Since the start of the Altered State Machine project, I’ve been waiting eagerly for additional game titles to spend my ASTO tokens on; games with high expectations, but with an equal chance of delivering a high-quality game experience.
“The Next Legends” was one of the first partnerships that ASM announced which brings a well-known Boxing legend’s name to the forefront of web3 gaming.
This initial “Pro Pack” is a limited-edition mint of NFT assets existing on the Ethereum blockchain. 5661 Packs will be available to mint and includes two NFTs:
A Pro Boxer NFT
A Gym Bag NFT (higher rarity and limited edition, think loot box!)
The cost to Mint is .11 ETH. For more information, I recommend reading this Medium article. The mint itself will follow a lottery-like process with minting every hour, but there are more details to come. I recommend following their Twitter @TheNextLegends or Discord Channel.
Not really Alpha, Alpha…Anyone has the chance to generate a Pro Boxer. However, Futureverse asset holders have a higher probability of claiming one. Meaning if you hold assets like Flufs, Thingies, ASM Brains, etc. the probability of minting a Pro Boxer goes up!
For Fun Only: Degen’s Are Loving Sol Crash!
I last shared Dungeon Miners as a fun, NFT-based, gambling adventure. Recently friends have shared their experiences with Solcrash.io. This is straight gambling, so only play with what you are willing to lose. Users put up an amount they are willing to risk and watch as the SOL multiplier rises. Users must claim the multiplier before it crashes. If they don’t, they lose their initial investment. Even if you don’t play, it’s interesting to watch the behavior of participants as they win and lose.
The intriguing NFT-related aspect here is that there are NFTs tied to this game. Apparently, holders of the PokerFace NFT receive 90% of Solcrash.io's profits distributed daily.
Alpha Leaks:
BoredBox.io - I previously shared the BoredBox.io NFT, and there were several pieces of Alpha shared during a “super secret” Twitter Spaces last Thursday:
Let’s start with the biggest news, that the second Bored Box is coming!
The team is calling their second box the “B64” and it is a nostalgic take on a popular 90’s gaming console. Public mint will take place on October 3rd. If you already own a Bored Box, then the private mint is expected to take place later this week at a price of .64 ETH.
There is more Alpha in the form of “Boredom”. Since the initial mint of the Bored Box, the team has worked hard to create partnerships that have resulted in random drops of gaming assets to players. To help the community have a better say in the gaming assets they receive and to ensure these assets end up in the right hands, future drops will be claimed with “Boredom”. It’s a reward points-like mechanism that is based on the mint price of your Bored Box and the length of time holding the token. It is NOT a cryptocurrency, but it does give the holder more control over what benefits they enjoy while being in this gaming community.

Cryptocurrency is a digital representation of value that functions as a medium of exchange, a unit of account, or a store of value, but it does not have legal tender status. Cryptocurrencies are sometimes exchanged for U.S. dollars or other currencies around the world, but they are not generally backed or supported by any government or central bank. Their value is completely derived by market forces of supply and demand, and they are more volatile than traditional currencies. The value of cryptocurrency may be derived from the continued willingness of market participants to exchange fiat currency for cryptocurrency, which may result in the potential for permanent and total loss of value of a particular cryptocurrency should the market for that cryptocurrency disappear. Cryptocurrencies are not covered by either FDIC or SIPC insurance. Legislative and regulatory changes or actions at the state, federal, or international level may adversely affect the use, transfer, exchange, and value of cryptocurrency.
Investing in cryptocurrencies comes with a number of risks, including volatile market price swings or flash crashes, market manipulation, and cybersecurity risks. In addition, cryptocurrency markets and exchanges are not regulated with the same controls or customer protections available in equity, option, futures, or foreign exchange investing. There is no assurance that a person who accepts a cryptocurrency as payment today will continue to do so in the future.
Investors should conduct extensive research into the legitimacy of each individual cryptocurrency, including its platform, before investing. The features, functions, characteristics, operation, use and other properties of the specific cryptocurrency may be complex, technical, or difficult to understand or evaluate. The cryptocurrency may be vulnerable to attacks on the security, integrity or operation, including attacks using computing power sufficient to overwhelm the normal operation of the cryptocurrency’s blockchain or other underlying technology. Some cryptocurrency transactions will be deemed to be made when recorded on a public ledger, which is not necessarily the date or time that a transaction may have been initiated.
· Investors must have the financial ability, sophistication and willingness to bear the risks of an investment and a potential total loss of their entire investment in cryptocurrency.
· An investment in cryptocurrency is not suitable or desirable for all investors.
· Cryptocurrency has limited operating history or performance.
· Fees and expenses associated with a cryptocurrency investment may be substantial.
There may be risks posed by the lack of regulation for cryptocurrencies and any future regulatory developments could affect the viability and expansion of the use of cryptocurrencies. Investors should conduct extensive research before investing in cryptocurrencies.
