Dear Future Whales,
Today’s note is loaded with Alpha, so expect a whale-sized note to cover it all. There are a few mints, some free and one with a very unique business model. Airdrops are taking place and there’s an opportunity to collect special POAPs that might be your ticket to something big!
Summary of today's notes:
Timely Reminders. Lots of them!

Timely Reminders:
This is Alpha! - Listen to the NFT Daily Dose on Twitter with Ryan Carson
Throughout the week, and most days at 10:30am ET, Ryan hosts a 1 hour Twitter space. This hour is loaded with great market intel and, for almost every event, he is giving away special POAPs (Proof of Attendance Protocol) that you can collect to prove you are listening. He is launching a new project next year and community members who collect these POAPs will be eligible to participate. Keep in mind that Ryan was the former COO of Proof Collective and Moonbirds, You do not want to miss this! Give him a follow to get notified.
Claim a FREE NFT during the Super Bowl - File this one away for later!
Gabe Leydon who is a leader in mobile game development and champion of the “Free-to-Own” model announced giving away a free DigiDaigaku Dragon NFT during a Super Bowl commercial that is claimable by scanning a QR code. These will be a limited supply and the current collection is quite pricey, so you will likely want one.
Big News from Blur.io!
I shared news of the first Blur.io airdrop last month and today (Dec. 5th) the second airdrop will be delivered. Airdrop 2 will be 10x bigger than airdrop 1! I have personally only been using Blur.io to maximize this reward, but I honestly enjoy the interface over other secondary exchanges.
CryptoWalkers.io - Female Mint is tomorrow, Dec. 6th. The mint price is .069. They have extended the allow list to several projects in ATEM Car Club membership holders and owners of Bored Box Jet Pack, Flufs, Seekers, ASM brains and AIFA Superheroines.
Also, they are giving away “land plots” to holders of CW assets. See the Twitter post below.
Seeker News - You can now name your Seekers! If you own Seekers, then I highly recommend doing this. In the past, previous drops by trait were tied to those who created a name and backstory for their game assets. Announced on 12/1, some CW mints will actually come with a Seeker if you don’t have one already!
Featured Freebie: Prometheans.xyz
I love to explore new NFT-related business models and am excited to share one that offers a free mint and a unique minting mechanism - I only wish that I had come up with the idea first!
Here is the idea: Minting started in November. There is a 15:00 timer that is counting down and every time a Promethean Monk is minted, the timer resets to 15:00. The lower the timer gets to zero, the rarer the NFT you mint is! If the timer reaches 00:00, then the mint is over.
As of writing this, there have been over 39,000 Prometheans minted. There are some other interesting mechanics: If you mint the free version, the NFT is transferrable. If you pay the minimum fee, it’s not. This could be an interesting feature to establish the project’s real supporters by distributing Soul-Bound token-like assets to paid minter wallets.
I have no idea where this goes, but it’s fun and interesting. Remember to always mint projects with your “Degen” or speculative wallet.

Cryptocurrency is a digital representation of value that functions as a medium of exchange, a unit of account, or a store of value, but it does not have legal tender status. Cryptocurrencies are sometimes exchanged for U.S. dollars or other currencies around the world, but they are not generally backed or supported by any government or central bank. Their value is completely derived by market forces of supply and demand, and they are more volatile than traditional currencies. The value of cryptocurrency may be derived from the continued willingness of market participants to exchange fiat currency for cryptocurrency, which may result in the potential for permanent and total loss of value of a particular cryptocurrency should the market for that cryptocurrency disappear. Cryptocurrencies are not covered by either FDIC or SIPC insurance. Legislative and regulatory changes or actions at the state, federal, or international level may adversely affect the use, transfer, exchange, and value of cryptocurrency.
Investing in cryptocurrencies comes with a number of risks, including volatile market price swings or flash crashes, market manipulation, and cybersecurity risks. In addition, cryptocurrency markets and exchanges are not regulated with the same controls or customer protections available in equity, option, futures, or foreign exchange investing. There is no assurance that a person who accepts a cryptocurrency as payment today will continue to do so in the future.
Investors should conduct extensive research into the legitimacy of each individual cryptocurrency, including its platform, before investing. The features, functions, characteristics, operation, use and other properties of the specific cryptocurrency may be complex, technical, or difficult to understand or evaluate. The cryptocurrency may be vulnerable to attacks on the security, integrity or operation, including attacks using computing power sufficient to overwhelm the normal operation of the cryptocurrency’s blockchain or other underlying technology. Some cryptocurrency transactions will be deemed to be made when recorded on a public ledger, which is not necessarily the date or time that a transaction may have been initiated.
· Investors must have the financial ability, sophistication and willingness to bear the risks of an investment and a potential total loss of their entire investment in cryptocurrency.
· An investment in cryptocurrency is not suitable or desirable for all investors.
· Cryptocurrency has limited operating history or performance.
· Fees and expenses associated with a cryptocurrency investment may be substantial.
There may be risks posed by the lack of regulation for cryptocurrencies and any future regulatory developments could affect the viability and expansion of the use of cryptocurrencies. Investors should conduct extensive research before investing in cryptocurrencies.
